- [FertiCovery Partners met in Athens](https://ferticovery.eu/partners-met-in-athens/): The FertiCovery project help a consortium meeting in Athens (Greece) on 30 June &#8211; 1st July 2025. The 8 partners reviewed progress and planned next steps to advance nutrient recovery and circular bio-based fertilisers, focusing on the selection and description of 25-30 case studies out of a long list of 140 technologies and installations. The presentation focused on the policy framework in the field of biowaste management in Europe. This event explored the transformation of biowaste into sustainable products like soil improvers and circular fertilisers. It was organised by three Horizon Europe projects (bioSOILUTIONS, Bin2Bean, FENIX) exchanging best practices related to biowaste valorisation and first-hand experiences from innovative Living Labs.
