The FertiCovery project help a consortium meeting in Athens (Greece) on 30 June – 1st July 2025.
The 8 partners reviewed progress and planned next steps to advance nutrient recovery and circular bio-based fertilisers, focusing on the selection and description of 25-30 case studies out of a long list of 140 technologies and installations.

Moreover they discussed the first workshop dedicated to the validation of these cases studies, while supporting policy and market uptake of alternative fertilising products.

Partners had the chance to visit the Lavrio Biorefinery producing biofuels (LIFE CIRCforBIO project) at Lavrio Technological and Cultural Park.

The Lavrion Technological and Cultural Park was founded at the initiative of the National Technical University of Athens, aiming to promote research and business activities, fostering knowledge transfer from the University to business, start-ups and society.
