The European Compost Network presented the FertiCovery project at the joint webinar “How can biowaste drive EU policy?” on 27 June 2025. The presentation focused on the policy framework in the field of biowaste management in Europe.

This event explored the transformation of biowaste into sustainable products like soil improvers and circular fertilisers.

It was organised by three Horizon Europe projects (bioSOILUTIONS, Bin2Bean, FENIX) exchanging best practices related to biowaste valorisation and first-hand experiences from innovative Living Labs.

Participants had the chance to discuss current challenges, solutions and policy perspectives to promote soil heath and sustainable agri-food systems.
