The ESNI-NERM 2026 conference is organised by the Biorefine Cluster Europe and the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform. It aims to showcase the latest research and demonstration outcomes in nutrient management and nutrient recycling.

The event will take place on 28 and 29 April 2026, in Brussels and online.

During this conference, on 28 April at 15:45-17:30, FertiCovery, FERTITEC and CiNURGi will hold an interactive session on “Scaling Circular Nutrient Solutions: From Regional Innovation to European Best Practice”.

This parallel session brings three complementary initiatives together to exchange on the potential for nutrient recovery, market development and barriers, including a panel discussion on policy and governance levers.

The FertiCovery coordinator, BTG, will present the state of the art on technologies for bio-based fertilisers and EBA will join the panel discussion to provide insights on policy and governance aspects. Sterre van der Voort (BTG) will also present a poster on best available technologies for bio-based fertilisers.
